Landrover Jeep Tsoutsouras – Maridaki Route

Through this route we will discover the wild side of southern Crete and we will reach one of the most famous fishing villages of southern Crete with beaches with crystal clear waters.

Our first stop is in the traditional village THRASANO where we will visit a family ceramics business where we will have the opportunity to see up close and learn how clay products are made.

Then we arrive in a small traditional village where we will try the Cretan drink the well known raki and we will rest in a traditional café.

Then through a beautiful route we reach the ASTEROUSIA mountains and climb to an altitude of 850 meters and see family farms for animals called MITATO. We will have the opportunity to see up close the Cretan sheep and goats.

The wild face of Southern Crete is beginning to be seen from above and the landscapes are really beautiful and dreamy.

Crossing the mountains of Asterousia we have the best images from southern Crete overlooking the best beach and the beautiful steep mountains.

Descending we reach one of the most famous fishing villages of Southern Crete, Tsoutsouros, where we will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal clear waters of the southern sea and then enjoy an amazing meal in a local traditional tavern. If we have good weather and with a charge of 7 euros per person we will be able to board a traditional boat and after 15 minutes to discover one of the hidden paradises of South Crete, the village MARIDAKI, We will be surprised by its beauty.

On our return through a beautiful route we end up in a small traditional village and enjoy local fruit and genuine Greek coffee
